Airmedix is supported by Bell Helicopter (USA) and Leonardo (Italy) with the B412EP, B429, and AW139 models. These are Category A multi-engine rotary-wing aircraft (safe operation with one engine inoperative during takeoff or in cruise flight).
We offer safe flight levels for patients. Our helicopters are electronically stabilized, with dual autopilot mandatory installed by factory for safe operation from 1,000 feet AGL and below 8,500 feet MSL depending on the patient's condition and family request. This is why we operate mostly during daytime due to medical safe altitude restrictions. Our affiliates have access to HEMS emergency medical services and SAR search and rescue all together at the beach, mountain, highway or even offshore. We operate within ten countries under ICAO/EASA specs and certifications for our well paid ATP pilots ( The Airline Transport Pilot FAA, EASA certificate is the worlds highest degree in aviation for Helicopter Captains and first Officers.
